speak to it falsely
speak to it true
words of whispering intention
a calendar of trouble
or a census of truth
in dire illusions of poetry
reveal struck down dreams
or shout tomorrow's dances
witness resistance
and witness compliance
in rubbing eyes with nature
sketch the colours of your face
in composing flames of fire
in the ever changing rhythm
of the flute's embrace
you have another day
to shake hands with your soul
