Crashing waves pull me down
Beneath the jarring surface
My arms thrash uncontrollably
And my legs jerk violently
I suffocate with each scream
As the water pierces my lungs
My vision has become unclear
And my heartbeat diminishes
With the last bubble of breath
That floats rapidly to the top
My tired eyes collapse
Sending me into the dark
And I’m left abandoned
At the bottom of the big sea
