Emily Martin - The Devil's Raven

2014-06-17 2 Dailymotion

The raven, it sits watching with beaded black eyes

As scarlet raindrops fall from somber skies

This raven contains something evil, something dark

A twisted spirit carrying its deadly mark

With the raven's soul colder than ice

Causing mortal terror won't even suffice

Black ink seeps through its every vein

A pestilent poison that only one can detain

To look to the raven is to look to your death

Every time the heart beats you lose precious breath

With iron claws it grasps you tight

You won't see it coming for it attacks at night

Its onslaught causes you to completely freeze

Because it attacks like a swift ocean breeze

Wings like waves of flaming coal

A beak sharper than a needle-tipped pole

The devil's silent taker of innocent lives

Deeper into the subconscious it dives

The raven, it sits peering at the bloodied ground

And during the dead of night makes nary a sound
