Yussuf Muktar - Fighting inequity

2014-06-17 1 Dailymotion

Confused at this very crossroad
I held my cheeks high in dismay
After a glimpse of new looks
Of mean skinny milk-less goats
Escorted by caravan of white-turbaned sheep
Grazing everywhere, producing none

I speak and say daringly right
Right here and there, without fear
That what I see may only be a tip
Of the foreseen monstrous iceberg
In the deep, darkly painted sea
With premature waves of inequity
In absolute absence of justice

I am humbled by truth of wisdom
That pride comes before a fall
I struggle with my harmless pen
That jots down nothing but nobility
To achieve a lasting piece of mind
Full of promising peace for all
