Oh - but what turns me so -
ln the long afternoon -
Fields of wonder -
The wind - perhaps -
Or my own two feet?
They sink into ground -
Pure cinnamon and wheat -
I clap my longing hands -
And echoes of song all around -
I sashay with light -
And light with I -
With no concious doubt -
And no soul in sight -
Then gentle night came to stir -
With kisses of pure blue and black -
Transfixed by joy - fond of starlight -
I should find my own way back -
I should be on my way.
