Surprise Me!

Bree Swart - My Silent Suicide

2014-06-18 9 Dailymotion

I take silent steps,
Weary of making a noise,
Around the house I crept,
Listening out for your voice.

Hastily, I took a knife from the kitchen drawer,
I went up to my room,
And silently closed the door.

Soundly you were asleep,
Unaware of the dreadful event taking place.
Into my bathroom I creep,
Trying to quicken my pace.

I turn the key,
The door locks,
I must work quickly,
As I looked at the clock.

I said my silent goodbyes,
To the demons who were listening.
They heard my silent cries,
And the tears in my eyes were glistening.

I raised the knife,
And caught a glimpse of my reflection,
This is the end of my life,
I am such a wasted creation.

I wish you all well,
And maybe you will be saved too,
From this awful world,
And all the crap we go through.

So this is my silent suicide,
I won't be missed,
But at least I will be happy,
And filled with bliss.

I bid thee fair well,
And good luck to who remains,
Because life my dear,
Is only causing you pain.
