* My father’s shadow *
In life I stood fatherless; not understanding why or what could I have done to deserve this? Feeling as if I played a part in what went down and what if I turn out the same way. For I am not my fathers shadow.
The things he and I do are different. Just like him I have the right to make my own chose. For what I do with my life should not reflect what he has done with his. For I am not my fathers shadow.
So I will stand and do better for me than my father done for his self. This is my life so I will live as my own shadow.
