U.S. President Barack Obama wraps up the U.S.-Africa Leaders summit declaring the meetings a success with some concrete returns.
(SOUNDBITE)(English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, SAYING:
"Combined with the investments we announced yesterday , and the commitments made today at the symposium hosted by our spouses, that mans that this Summit has helped to mobilize some $37 billion for Africa's progress on top of obviously the substantial efforts that have been made in the past."
In a wide ranging end of summit press conference he weighed in on the impact of sanctions on Russia.

Amid reports of Russian troops along Ukraine's border Obama was asked whether he was considering sending lethal aid to Ukraine.
