What would you have done
If it was to your head
That they held that gun?
Would you have simply fled
Whilst those around you bled?
Or could you stand your ground
With your actions so profound
Create a little distraction
Causing some type of reaction
Try to play the hero
Even if it amounts to zero
I'd like to do the second
Though I know I'm no force
With which to be reckoned
Even a small action
If it helps just a fraction
To rid the world of guns
Would be worthwhile
When thinking in the long run
