Armor plated heart
needed it right from
the start,
too sensitive to be real
too raw for it to heal
broken and glued
back in place
some pieces dont fit
some fall out of grace
from me to allow
the time to see
that somewhere, sometime
shes still out there
awaiting to find
that missing piece
that makes her mine.
