Life’s greatest gifts cannot be derived from gold or silver,
Nor can it be found in a mansion, or the fastest car
For these worldly objects will one day fade away,
And be forgotten by our loved ones some day.
The best gifts in life cannot be bought or sold,
For they are priceless, a beauty often left untold.
The greatest gift isn’t in the wallet or bank account
Nor is it the paycheck we receive every month.
But if we learn to listen to others, and not simply hear
And give a helping hand by always being near.
If we devote our time to give, to serve, to uplift,
Then surely, this is indeed life’s greatest gift.
The greatest gift to help others up when they fall,
And to extend positive energy to one and all.
Share this gift, the gift of a genuine smile,
And you may be helping someone walk an extra mile.
