This phase of life
Will also pass
The knots it has tied
Will never last
Today I am helpless
Restricted and restrained
Bound and gagged
By heavy metal chains
People and relationships
Have done this to me
But soon that time will come
When nothing will bind me
Enraged in this cage
I have tried my best
To escape
But now my spirit knows
These cages are just fake
The day I stop to resist
The cages will no longer persist
And I will stop feeling the pains
Of crushing metallic chains
