At 16 Ally was thrown out of her foster home
She lived on a friends sofa until she could afford a place of her own
She left school so she could get 2 jobs
She had no qualifications and not a lot of friends but so being employed meant a lot
She worked as a cleaner and as a shop assistant
Where she made so many friends in a instant
At 18 she could finally afford a flat to rent
Her colleagues gave her furniture and helped her find a place in Kent
At 19 her best friend Lori who was like a mother to her had cancer
She was 34 and had 4 young kids and not even money would be the answer
Lori was thrown out of her home and had moved in with Ally
Who welcomed her and always stayed positive and happy
Lori had no family and her husband had died
6 months after she was diagnosed she when to be by his side
She left Ally to look her 4 young kids
Ally was like a daughter to her and knew it would be the best thing she did
Ally was made redundant and became unemployed
It was a time of her life she least enjoyed
Only 2 of the kids was in school full time
Finding the money to feed them never left her mind
Ally got married at 24
He was someone she adored
By the time ally was 80 she had 6 more kids they all moved away
But it was Lori's kids who decided to stay
They looked after her until it was her time to go
It was a cold night and past away while watching the snow
Lori's kids were made sure her family there to say goodbye
Some flew on planes to be there and couldn't help but cry
