When this mortal life is gone
And we immortals are borne
We shall see God as He is
There, on a high, majestic throne
We shall know each other in heaven
We shall sit and visit with the saints
And shall have all eternity
In which to enjoy their fellowship
We shall sit with Adam
And talk about Eden
We shall sit with Noah
And talk about the flood
We shall sit with Moses
And talk about deliverance at the red sea
We shall sit with Elijah
And talk about His ride on the fiery chariot
We shall sit with La'azarus
And talk about his resurrection from death
We shall sit with Paul
And talk about his life changing experience on Damascus road
There will be a joyous reunion
The infinite goodbye kiss at the deathbed
The longing glance at the casket
Will be forgotten in the kiss of reunion at Heaven's gate
