ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: Prince Harry visited the Field of Remembrance, a memorial garden to commemorate service personnel and veterans, at Westminster Abbey in London on Thursday (November 6).

During the ceremony, he laid a wood cross of remembrance in front of two wooden crosses from the graves of unknown British soldiers from World War One and World War Two.

It is the second time he has visited the Field of Remembrance - last year, he was joined by Prince Philip.

Other members of the British royal family took part in remembrance-themed events ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

Queen Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip and her grandson Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, attended the opening of the Flanders memorial garden at Wellington Barracks, which is situated close to Buckingham Palace.
