I went into the world today,
it didn't hit at once.
Feeling fine, it's a beautiful day,
winter chill is finally gone.
I need a few things at the grocery store,
'think I'll pick them up.
Made a list and put it near the door
''Don't Forget''!
Exhaust fumes, crowed parking lot,
hard faces of parents with their kids,
coughs and sneezes, cigarette smoke,
obese people grabbing for the chips!
Am I so easily shattered,
unprotected from the gruel and the grime,
I guess so, 'cause everytime,
this predictable scenario repeats itself!
Is this what life is all about,
I get so frustrated!
Is everything just a waste of time,
or am I going crazy!
