As I look up to the stars
That drift on a life's cold sea
One thing that is certain
They never shone for me
For as I've wandered lonely
Through this eternity
I look up to the stars that never shone for me
As I ever wander
I won't dare tire or halt
For the world will stop a' turning
And it will be my fault
So I must wander lonely through this eternity
But no matter what I try
Those stars won't shine for me.
