Afterwards
She knew no love
Her heart became frozen
Unable to be melted
She still had his jacket
Scented with the cologne she adored
She would wear it and imagine
His body against hers
So gentle was his touch
She missed him so much
When she lusted after his
Body of muscle
Lips of candy
Like a mean child she held him near
She did not want to share
He was her man
She his lady
The perfection of the two
Made strangers cry
Why then is she now with another guy
She messed up
He gave her up
There love shattered
Now irreplaceable
Like the glass she threw across the door
She tried to get the pieces back
In place
But he simply smiled and said
I’ve found a replace
