Brother versus brother, an eye for an eye,
and all the while the innocent die,
The leaders and generals, tucked up in bed,
more women and children, dead.
Not for an ideal, no winnable war,
bombs in our name fall on some foreign shore,
The public sit back in some sort of coma,
subdued and trancelike from television soma.
Millions of voices, please, please no,
no heed my friends, in they go,
Brother versus brother, an eye for an eye,
how many more 'collaterals' will die?
