The steel is still hot,
the smoke still rises,
but I must go on,
looking for my brothers...
You know, the ones
who were still going
up the stairs
into the buildings,
into the fires
and flames
as they sent
people out.
So, I dig
through the rubble,
day after day,
until I can
bring my brothers home.
* Dedicated to all the policemen,
firemen, Doctors, nurses, and all the
others who worked days on end with little
or no rest, until all were found that could be
found,9/11/2001.
