I am a born Champion
I yearn to run the race
At the starting line
I stamp my hooves
Preparing to run to the end
The signal at last is given
I now release all my energy
Launching myself ahead
Stretching each leg
Flexing each muscle as I run
I am striving to beat the pack
Thundering hooves all around
A mass of bodies
Running down the track
To reach the further end
I am running the grand race
Muscle and sinew straining
Trying to reach the front
Of the charging pack
All streaming along the fence
I reach the coveted leader spot
Out in front of all the rest
Flashing under the wire
I am a born champion
I have won the grand race
