I'm not a poet can't you see
I put together words
That may cause glee
But like many talents I've not seen
Poetry is the one that haunts me
I'm not a poet can't you see
It has no meaning
Or a feel
That would make people say
Lets read
Just a list of words placed in a line
And I'm lucky if I get a dime
For the sad fact that I have no soul
That can write poetry like Poe or Angelo
I'm not a poet can't you see
Even my poetry writes about me
