A true angel found on this earth is sometimes hard to find some say
Today I shall tell you of what an angel is
A person who see’s and knows your pain
Remains through the tears and prays for strength that will pull you through
Angel’s walking among us only if we open our eyes and believe
One who by a simple message can brighten your day
Pray for you each time there seems to be no hope

An unseen reason why you walked away
The day all wondered how you survived
The one who stands guard over a soldier
While a bullet soars close but not fatal
Angel’s walking among us only if we open our eyes and believe
A simple act of kindness
Might open up our blindness
Then perhaps war would be no more
And love would reign
Angel’s walking among us only if we open our eyes and believe
