With a pencil held in an anxious hand
Creativity blossoms and takes command
To draw what is felt…beyond what is seen
Filling with a touch …the spaces in between
The swelling desire to create stirs to motivate
With paths of light and contours that navigate
With fascination, the drawing gradually appears
Time evaporates as satisfying completion nears
Standing back with a squinting eye to scrutinize
Your endeavors have translated and improvised
It is not an imitation, but an interpretation of reality
The image seems to have internal warmth and breathe
As an artist, you do not pretend to be a snapshot mimic
Intentions are to satisfy self-expression without a gimmick
