As you sleep you look so innocent, you look like such a sweet thing.
You tempt me with your softened features, your slow even breath.
I can almost not remember the cruel words that stung me so.
They are creeping into the back of my mind.
You look like such a sweet thing, so gentle and kind.
Does the unconcious really hide whats inside?
How can I forget all of those horrible things, all of those days bleeding and in pain.
Oh my sweet thing, its like night and day.
But I will help you, I will take away that evil side that beats and batters me, that evil person lingering within you.
I place the soft feathery comfort over you, and hold you close to my breast.
Do not fight me sweet thing, Let yourself slip into the abyss of never ending slumber.
My soul is somehow free, as I can see that you will be my sweet thing for eternity.
