The highs are too high
the lows are too low
the heart aches too often
comprehension not coming to know
thoughts coming to us at tremendous speeds
trying to sift through them, pick the ones to help us succeed
but in the end, but when its all done
how do you ever know, if we picked the right ones
no second chances, no matter much how much we beg and plead
this is not fiction, hope we have the wisdom that we need.
