I am learning,
After ALL these years,
To be patient,
And rest my fears...
I no longer
Have road rage,
But drift along behind,
Bringing up the rear.
I no longer
Have high blood pressure,
But wait patiently for the Doctor
With all his wisdom.
My children
No longer bother me,
For they are all grown,
And bothering others, you see?
And My Grandchildren?
They don't bother me...
For they belong to their parents,
And are their problems, see?
My house blew up my T. V.,
My computer and my radio...
So there is no racket to bother me...
And the peace is really nice.
I turned down the management job
At the place where I work,
So I can come and go as I please,
And never do my job I shirk! !
My life is so peaceful
That it is down right boring...
It is driving me insane...
That fact there is no ignoring! ! !
