All my life I have suspected
I might be Jesus Christ.
It’s not because I am holy
Or better than the rest.
Its just that I cannot conceive,
Of my parents having sex.
Therefore,
By definition,
Mine must have been,
An immaculate conception.
My mother is a wonderful woman,
Who fills the house with smells of cookies,
And fills our hearts with love.
But she is not a “Babe” or “Sexy.”
I see her as “above”
Such things as rolling in the hay.
She’s matronly, a saint, the shower of the way.
She set a good example,
And all us children know,
That since she says no sex for us,
For her it must be so.
So when our folks go to bed at night,
We know.....
They only sleep.
