And so we let the games begin
Before the tears and the tides come in
I let her drive
She's good to go
Of our outings
Nobody needs to know
This morning I regret the day
I let the rain wash guilt away
But back for more, I run to her
Sparkling skin and expensive fur
I walk through town and meet with friends
I drink away the fear of ends
A break may rise only a false hope
I am walking down this slippery slope
Meanings come and then they fail
To wisp the breeze of loving sails
The breeze has stopped
We move no more
We're in our ocean
Our hearts are sore
Receive advice then turn away
The knot I tied has become fray
If only I could wash away
The dirty coat I wear today
I walk through town but friends are gone
I drink alone til half past one
My life needs not a wider scope
I tripped and slipped, this slippery slope!
