One should never spend too much time
in a search for happiness.
Like the ticks of an inaccurate clock; time will still pass
and any such fleet euphoria treasured
more than life itself
will soon fly like a buzzard
to its perch in the rotten tree above the carcass….
Waiting on the spirit to die….
