Glowing light from the sacred candle
illuminates the house and our life
Goddess Laxmi then handles
all our tensions and worries..
mouth watering delicacies
spread their aroma
satiates the greedy hunger
of body and soul which always linger..
corners, all sparkles
and glistens in a special glow
fragrented oil burns all over
smiles and happiness all around hover..
beautiful patterns in the verenda
using colourful sand,
everyone is then welcome
so sacred is this day!
