Shall we play this waiting game once again?
Holding our breaths for one night,
Just to save ourselves from one night.
One day we'll be gone,
And the world will seem so empty,
But don't worry,
We will visit you; lay down beside you,
And whisper once again,
It's not goodbye for all, it's goodbye for once.
As tomorrow rolls we'll be packing,
But its' not time to leave quite yet,
So don't let those tears fall quite yet,
Savor the days from June to January,
The moments of fallen dreams,
And twisted logic.
For this place was home once,
But now the bus is leaving,
The families crying,
While one seat is left empty;
We can't leave empty,
Emotionless, shameless,
Half-hearted in glory akin.
So hurry up and run a bit faster,
For the driver is impatient,
We ourselves stretched to our limits,
Leave or stay,
One way or another,
It's not goodbye for all, it's goodbye for once.
