Mother Nature’s Song
Tall stands the pine
proud and free
the sad errie song of nature
is sung by the breeze
its a low whisper and hum
which warns
of disaster yet to come
of man who leaves his city
for a dream of silent suburban
tranquility
But alas before the dream
there is a construction scheme
with bulldozers and asphalt tar
which leaves a permanent scar
where the tall pine once stood
proud and free
Now that man lives
proud and free
will mother nature
sing for he
as she did before
the song of death
and the final
nuclear war
