A friend was all I wanted
Was all I waited for
A friend to back me up
After everyone walked out the door
Someone to be there for me
A friend to help me through
The fears in life I have to face
When alone, I didn't know what to do
One single friend to bring me light
To share my happiness and sorrows
One single soul to make my day
To live with me my tomorrow
A friend is all I needed
Finding a friend was what I lived for
But now I realize I had you along
And Im not looking, anymore
