Ancient monuments,
Granny, and grandpa,
With cracks and crivices,
And wrinkles,
With fallen walls,
And missing teeth....
Mended someplaces,
Irreparable at others,
But still with,
Old grace, charm,
And elegence,
Appear strangely muted.
Sit in their lap,
Like a time machine.
Listen, witness,
A strange, beautiful,
Mysterious world,
Back in time.
