of holidays past
dazzling flowers fading fast
fresh detergent smell of laundry
trigger the senses
an easy stroll
by broken down dismantled boxes
a melody of a few notable images
mark this solemn trip
an ancient rural mailbox
seems out of place
stuffed seal on a stick (what an unusual sight)
hear the distant barking
of unseen animals from neighborhoods lest behind
