Within the pitfalls of the grass
Under a blazing midday sun
Cicada sing, cicada hum
Carry your spark on the wind
Never fall quiet
Cicada hop, cicada run
Here he comes with sorrow on his boots
It’s time to quiet the sound
To a whisper to a drone
Cicada fly cicada home.
