There is someone I've met before
not really that long ago
with all the wonders of the world
I know of one, that is him
Someone so happy and so full of life
Who has a way of making things feel right
And if I should meet him, once in a day
I'm left with a warm feeling through out the night
It's been nearly a year since we first met
so long ago it seems
Such a wonderful person, to me he is
Sometimes he feels like a dream
He chases all my clouds away
removes the darkness and brightens my day
and if he were to sit close to me
my cheeks would blush and a grin he'd see
On the lonely road, I am no more
And far from being who I was before
And if I were to think of him, just once more
he'd be my shining knight whom I adore
