Beauty Philosophy - The Fair Ghost of Death

2014-11-10 0 Dailymotion

Death has no ambulance siren or VIP access card
To warn its hosts about its visits so hard
Makes no difference between rich or poor
Makes no favor for whites over blacks for sure
Gives no privilege for presidents or stars
Comes all of a sudden with no single alarm
May come in the wake of an accident or illness
or may creep smoothly and calmly in sleep
May come too in the flower of age and stabs the hearts so deep
No one is above death whosoever
Neither Elvis nor Michael Jackson, the music icons forever
Whatever is our journey through life
Death is lurking for us somewhere with a sharp knife
In Palestine and Iraq it takes children each and every night
Though no one enquired who, when and why?
But now when it takes Jackson, the world turns upside-down
How come it takes a pop star who still intends to go so far?
Still young said some, still active said another
Death makes no favor for an old or young brother
No class, no race, no rank or face
To be the governing rules as in life’s case
In death we are all similar and equal
Wrapped in the same white blanket and buried in tombs
Penniless and naked as we were in our mothers’ wombs
From the soil we were created and to it we go back
The train of life’s arrival is the same as the departure station
Our journey in this train is nothing but an equation
Between good and evil deeds to each other we did
This is the luggage we are allowed to take in our transit
From the train of life to the tomb pit
Cruel and merciless death, that’s what you are!
But fair, just and unbiased in your random visits so far.
