I tried so hard to make you happy
I never told you that you were the reason why I was sad,
I never wanted to make you feel bad
I wish you could see
just how much you mean to me,
but you ran from everything
and left me standing there second guessing
Didn’t you think I was scared too?
But I would have done anything for you
What I would have done to spend a moment with you
I wish you knew what I have been through,
but I cannot bring myself to let you know
it doesn’t seem right to do so
So I will accept this,
because I have no choice
It is not what I choose,
but there is no longer anything left for me to loose
