To Izzy...
You bought a smile to my face the second you arrived
The trouble that you caused us, Was all pushed to one side
You had no thoughts for yourself, so you didn’t realise
How scared I was for you, when you stopped growing inside
You made it through the tough part, a little fighter at heart
I bet your were just playing games, Cause you wanted an early start.
Three weeks early you Appeared, At 1: 30 pm
Any time would have been great, But I always knew from then
That my life would never be the same, I had a little girl in tow
But life wasn’t easy for me at the time, But this you weren’t to know
But hey my problems are my problems
They don’t add up to much, I let them all fade away
Whenever I feel your touch
Its hard for me though Izabella, whenever I see your smile
I want to stay and play with you, but I only get a short while
Every time I see you, Its crazy to see how much you’ve grown
My only hope is one day I can have you on my own
By the time you get this poem you should know who I am
Cause when I look into your eyes your thinking who’s that man
And that’s not the easiest thing for me, Because I was there from the start
The first to touch and hold you, your always in my heart
Because I’m only human and I have cried many a tear
I want to be your daddy and for you to know I’m here
Your every breath that I take, Everyday I know its mad
But you’re the best thing to come out the mess of my life
So that I can be glad
So if you ever need to talk to me, if your down and feeling sad
Just know ill be here Always
Love you forever love your dad
