Whitish gray sky
pours down rain
this early morning.
I listen to raindrops
as I sip hazelnut coffee.
It is difficult to decide
which should get my attention -
the rain or the hazelnut.
Sky is luminescent -
too bright for this gray day.
I devour it all
as I unwillingly
begin the day.
