If I loved you
if my words were flame,
if my passion poured over you
like broken stars.
If each night I held you
in loves embrace,
and awoke with the
shadows of your morning smile.
If I danced with you
under night skies,
and walked with you by the sea
as the breeze adorned your hair.
If I kissed those lips
that spoke my name.
If I loved you
would your love remain?
