Missing our chats

Hoping we can still be friends thru the darkness
Missing my best friend so much it hurts
Wishing that your life didn’t become complicated
Wishing I could be there for you
Wishing I didn’t get shoved away
Wishing your life would go back to normal and we can be like we were
Knowing it never will
Wishing I could turn back the hands of time
To happier days
Before things went wrong
Earthquake it seemed
Made us reevaluate our lives
And rethink our perspectives
