Jessie Hopkins - Is Love Disappearing

I can't stand the silence.
I can't stand the fights.
There is between us a fence.
We hurt each other most nights.

I yell things I later regret.
After I always cry.
Time I wish to reset
back to when our love flew high.

We sleep seperate together in bed.
Is this how we will spend forever?
My heart breaks with each word said.
I use to think we belonged together.

A door is harshly shut,
another fight ended with a slam.
My heart is freshly cut
and I think our love is damned.

I tell you my fears of our lost love.
I ask if we've wasted all these years.
Are we destined to push and shove?
Will I always have to hide my tears?

We sleep seperate together in bed.
Is this how we will spend forever?
My heart breaks with each word said.
I use to think we belonged together.

You listen to me confess my heart
and I fear the worst.
Will phases of seperation start?
My heart feels as if it will burst.

But you pull me into your embrace
and I feel the warmth I miss.
My heart begins to race
when you give me a passionate kiss.

I cry when you tell me you are sorry
and that you will always love me.

Now we sleep in each other's arms in bed,
and this is how we will be forever.
My heart is strengthened with each word said.
I know once again we belong together.
