Robots don’t lie
I had an electric robot once,
Who used to catch me when I said lies,
Correction, Correction you did not do that,
Oh, he was a terrible fright.
He followed me everywhere,
To catch me when I said lies big and square,
He made me the laugh in front of others,
He had a big mouth, I hate him fair.
He did do things like housework around,
He helped my mom in sewing caps round,
He jumped up and down when he gained some batteries,
But oh dear, he made me full of worries.
I had enough of this big nuisance machine,
I thought of complaining to the company, please,
Because whenever I lied about doing my homework,
He’ll pop out of nowhere and give me the study time network.
“What is his problem? ” I asked my dad once,
But he’ll just laugh and say “He is programmed to do so”,
“How can you trust him? He’ll also say lies”,
But my dad would smile and say “Robots don’t lie”.
I hated him more and more every minute,
That day I decided to call the company,
“Your Robot says lies” I shouted at the manager,
“I’m sorry for the disturbance” he said with a sad nature.
The day arrived when the Robot had to go,
My father wondered “What the heck is going on? ”
I explained to my father what happened on the phone,
“Gosh what am I supposed to do? ” he asked to himself in a tone.
