This week in Mexico, protests, marches, and demonstrations demanding justice for the Ayotzinapa 43 are on the agenda. As the stranglehold of poverty and discontent grow, Mexicans grow increasingly united. Each day they find new and creative ways to express their indignation at the unacceptable, imperialist attitude that their government imposes. Being kidnapped, murdered, or going missing is hardly unusual; 22,000 people have disappeared in the country since 2006, yet somehow, the disappearance of 43 Ayotzinapa teaching college students was the incendiary spark that mobilized a nation.
