Fatal shootings plagued parts of the United States this week, leaving eight people dead, including an unborn baby, and two others critically wounded.
In Tallahassee, Florida, officials said a Florida State University graduate opened fire early on Thursday at the school's main library, wounding two students and an employee. Police identified the shooter as 31-year-old Myron May, who was fatally shot by law officers.
In Tabernacle, New Jersey, a mother shot and killed two of her children and critically wounded a third before turning the gun on herself on Thursday, according to state police. She survived the shooting, but died Sunday at a Camden hospital. The third child, an 11-year-old boy, remains hospitalized at the same hospital.
