It is tax season once again in Bangladesh, and the government is trying to get more of its citizens to pay their share of the tax burden. But according to official figures, only about 1.4 million people out of a population of 150 million are expected to pay their taxes this year. Many Bangladeshis cite corruption and government inefficiency as reasons for not paying.
