One of Nigeria’s leading Catholic Archbishops, Ignatius Kaigama, tells France 24 that both the Nigerian government and the international community should do more to get rid of Boko Haram.
He describes how the conflict has affected the lives of Christians and Muslims in northern Nigeria, particularly in the mixed city of Jos, where he has tried to bring religious communities together. Archbishop Kaigama also talks about his controversial support for Nigeria’s draconian anti-gay law, insisting that he does not back criminalizing homosexuals.
